SUNFLOWERS

Hey Stampers!

Hope you're having a good week!

Here is the other card that I made at class.....again...mostly punches. Super easy....yet SUPER cute!!
Do you see the spritzing?? I love that thing!

The flowers are made using the scallop circle punch and then cutting each scallop....the centers are made with the 1" circle punch and then embossed using the polka dot folder that is in the Ocassions Mini, as is the Shades of Spring dsp. The chocolate chip background is embossed using the same folder. The card's base is a half sheet of certainly celery. Soooo Cute!!! I can't help myself.....I'm going to do this card at my April stamp club too!! ;-)

Well, that's it for me today.....Until next time, find some time for stamping!!!

Happy {Bird} Day

Hey Stampers,

I am TRYING to be better at being consistent in my blogging....but it seems to be the first thing that goes to the wayside when my days get busy.....but I will keep trying!!

The card I'm sharing with you today is one that we did in stamp class. I probably say this about all the cards I do there....but this is one of my favorites :-) In fact, we are doing this card at my stamp club in April. Isn't it cute!!!!
This card was made pretty much with all punches.....and then they were stamped using the woodgrain background stamp. The birdhouses are made using the large tag and the photo corner punches....the "hole" is made with the 1/2" circle punch......the bird with the 2 step bird punch that is in the current Occasions Mini catalog. The fence is 1/2" strips of close to cocoa card stock. The sentimnt is the Level 1 hostess stamp set Picture It, that was punched using the word window and that was layered on top of a die cut from the matchbook bigz die and the big shot.

The new thing for me on this card was using the Spritz tool for the first time. I now LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! I find myself wanting to spritz everything!!! :-)

Well....that's it for me....Until next time, find some time for stamping!!!

Blessings.........Cindy

Hey Stampers! Sorry again for the long pause.....Just a bunch of stuff going on here.

My monthly stamp club has decided to start swapping. Each gal made 6 cards and then each of us went home with 6 different cards.

Here are pictures of those cards.....sorry, but I forgot to take a picture of my swap :-(

This first card was made by Janeen Best....love the sentiment!!!
This card is Jamie Slater's....beautiful coloring!
This card is Barbara Holmes'.....such pretty pinks!
Here is Michelle Turner's card.....I love the richness of the Elegant Eggplant and the Baroque Motifs
This card is Michelle Barnes'.....you never can have enough birthday cards!!
This last card was made by Ruth Berberian.....She did a LOVELY job!!!
They all did a great job and I look forward to seeing what they come up with next month....which has the theme of SPRING!

Until next time, find some time for stamping!!

CARD CHANGE UP

Happy Friday!! The sun is shining today and it's the start of the weekend.....I'm so looking forward to it!

Hey...I have been having fun stamping and using leftover supplies from my previous stamp clubs. What I've done is take the exact same layout and change some of the colors, punches, and images. Last month we made Valentine Day cards.....well, there's only so many of those you can use throughout the year.....so I switched them up and made some great birthday cards!

This post shows the Valentine Day card that was the inspiration for this card.......
This post shows the other Valentine Day card that inspired this card.......
I think they turned out pretty cute!! And you can never have enough birthday cards! My biggest problem is remembering to actually send them out! :-)

Well, that's it for me today. I am going to get it in gear and get all my work done so that I can enjoy the weekend!

Until next time, find some time for stamping!

Blessings......Cindy

BABY QUILT

Hey! I know....Long time, no post. Darn life gets in the way sometimes :-)

Well, I finished my quilt....sewing and washing. I think it turned out pretty good. It will continue to fray with each washing....but I didn't want to wash it to death before I even gave it to them. The pictures aren't the best, but I think you get the idea. Here is a picture of the frayed side.....
Here is a snapshot of part of the other side.......
I hope you like it.....for those of you who are "real quilters"....please don't look too close!

Well, that's it for me today......Today I've got workers installing a solar system on our house....so all I keep hearing are those men drilling holes in our roof....hope it doesn't rain :-)

I have a couple of cards that I will post next time. Until then, find some time for stamping!

Blessings..........Cindy

HAPPINESS ALWAYS CARD

Hey Stampers! I can't believe how quickly a week can go.....it seems like just the other day that I posted something. Anyways.....been busy finishing the baby quilt and doing some preparation for my stamp club on Monday evening.

First, the quilt. I haven't yet taken a picture of the finished product. I have washed it and am in the process of picking all the fray pieces off it. Right now it doesn't look that great....looks kind of "stringy" from all the lose strings. I will finish that up and hopefully take a picture this weekend and post it as well.

This morning I made a card for a friend of mine who's daughter is having a bridal shower this Sunday. I cased this card from a gal named Sherri Barron .....click on her name to visit her blog. I wanted something that was EASY and very springy. Here is the card.....
I think pretty much all the stuff used for this card came from the Occasions Mini and the Sale-a-bration catalogs. Those two catalogs are the BEST that I think Stampin' Up! has come out with in a long time.....although I'm sure I say that about each new catalog :-)

Well, that's it for me today....I will work at getting pictures of the baby quilt and posting them.
Until next time, find some time for stamping!

Blessings.........Cindy
