CELEBRATE TODAY

Greetings,

Today's card is one that we made just the other day at my February Stamp Club....it uses the new Celebrate Today Photopolymer stamp set and the framelits that match from the Occasions catalog.  I love this set!  And what I love even more about it is that it is a Photopolymer set!  I love these stamps!  They cling to your blocks like crazy and I love how you can see exactly where you're going to be stamping!  Not sure I can ever stamp with anything else!

Here is the card.....nothing fancy about it.  You can't really tell from the photo...but the Happy Birthday balloon is popped up from the rest.  After I stamped the Bermuda Bay balloon, I noticed that there was a small spot that didn't get inked....but I left it because I thought it looked like light reflecting off the surface.....just re-enforces the fact that there are never any mistakes with stamping :-)
 Below is the inside...
Well, that's it for today.  I'll be back to share with you some cards that I made a couple of month ago that I've never posted.

Thanks for taking the time to visit!

Until next time...find some time for stamping!

FUN FLOWER BIRTHDAY CARD

Hey There!

Welcome back!

Today's card is another super super easy one!! I used the Bloom For You single stamp. I liked this little flower stamp....and what makes me like it even more is that it has a coordinating punch! I always love to get coordinating stamp sets and punches or dies...makes projects so easy!

Again, I apologize for the washed out colors....I'll have to figure out how to make the colors brighter.
I must admit that is isn't one of my favorite cards....but I found using Washi Tape more challenging than I thought.  Maybe I'll just have to keep working at it and see if I can't be more creative.

I've been making a conscious effort to stamp almost everyday and to post to my blog at least 2 times a week.....It's been challenging getting back in the habit of making time to blog and then thinking of something to write.  So, please bear with me as I get back into the groove!

Until next time, find some time for stamping! Hugs, Cindy

Simple Sheltering Tree Card

Hey There,

The other day I wanted to play with the new Sheltering Tree stamp set from the Occasions catalog so I made this really simple card that only took a few minutes to make....which is something I like.  The best part of starting something is finishing it...that is why I don't do cross stitch or other crafts that take weeks or months to complete...my attention span is just not up to that level.

Anyways, quick and easy....here it is:

The picture is a bit washed out.....but the green I used was Wild Wasabi....but it looks more like Always Artichoke in the picture.

Well, that's it for today....

Until next time, find some time for stamping!

January Club Card #2

Hey There!

Back again with the other card that we made at Stamp Club in January.

This card also uses the Lotus Blossom stamp set from the 2015 Sale-A-Bration catalog....I think I might cry when this set retires.

With this card I used only one color....Real Red...and I only used 2 of the stamp.  I stamped the highlighted part with full strength and then the lighter part was achieved by stamping off once.  So cute!
Here is the inside of the card....the same colors and process of used for these flower as well.

Here is the fold in the card....I folded back part of the front and adhered it down.

Well, that's it for today....I'll work at being more consistence and getting in the groove!

Until next time....find some time for stamping!

Hugs, Cindy

January Club Card #1

Hey There!

I know it's been over a month since I posted....but honestly....I just forget!  I guess that totally proves that I'm completely out of the habit of blogging.

I am just in love with the new Lotus Blossom stamp set that is free in the 2015 Sale-A-Bration catalog.  It is just BEAUTIFUL!!

The ink colors I used for this card were Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose (retired) and Melon Mambo...on the stems I used Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive.  The card's base is Pink Pirouette with a strip of retired Old Olive DSP.  The liners are Regal Rose and Old Olive.  The inspiration for this card came from a couple of other cards I saw on Pinterest....gotta love that sight!

Here is the inside of the card.....used the same colors.

Well, that's about it....I'll post the other card that we made as well in another post...that way I will be posting more :-)

Until next time....find some time for stamping!

Gift Card Tins

Greetings,

Hope you had a blessed, relaxing and wonderful Christmas Day!  We sure did.

Below are some gift card tins that I whipped up really fast just this year when I needed some gift cards holders at the last minute.  These types of items are perfect for using retired supplies and scraps.  They are made using the thin tins that Stampin' Up! was selling off about 3-4 years ago.....I have a stash of them and I use them sparingly...they are perfect for gift cards and gift coupons.  They are easily packaged up and mailed too :-)

Well, Christmas is over and it's now time to think about the New Year!  Boy, time sure goes by QUICK!

Until next time....find some time for stamping!
