SCRAPBOOK CARD & KITTENS

Here is a "scrapbook card" that I made.....it is adapted from JanTink's creation (view her blog here). I scaled it down to 5x5 panels so that I could use 8-1/2 x 11 cardstock and get 2 panels from 1 sheet. There actually is not too much stamping....mostly die cuts (LOVE that Big Shot) and punches (LOVE those punches!). The circles are made with the Circle Scissor Plus....which I am beginning to feel comfortable using....don't ask me why I'm freaked out by it :-D.
By making this "card" a 5x5 size, it can easily slip into a 6x6 envelope so that you can actually mail this to somebody.

A few of you have asked for an update on the kitties.....Here is a picture that I quickly took this morning of the baby kittens....who are 5 weeks today! They are frisky and ADORABLE!! It's hard to get a decent picture since they are busy chasing tails, attacking their box and each other, exploring the patio, and getting to know our black lab, Jesse....who I might add is so cute with them!! I think she would mother them if she could!
Out of the 7 we have 1 runt. He is about 1/2 the size as the others. About 2 weeks ago, we began to supplement him with a bottle since he was beginning to get rooted out by the bigger ones. We had our doubts about his survival, but it looks like he is going to make it. Here is a picture of him from a couple of days ago after he was fed.
He has become a family favorite....my daughter likes to wrap him up like a baby. When he's finished eating he turns the purring on full blast! I think he is going to be the best of the bunch as far as being lovable....but he's also getting quite spoiled!!

I will work on getting a picture of all of them. Trying to get a good picture of them has made me really admire nature photographers!!!

Until next time,
Find some time for stamping!!!
Blessings, Cindy

Cindy,

I love the blog background. Those kittens are sooooooooo cute. The runt is absolutely adorable, keep it up and never give up on him. It is heartbreaking to see a kitten die. Cute crafting idea today, I love the design and color combo. I love those big-shot dies too, and my customers are determined not to like them, so I am frustrated. Bummer. Looking forward to more posts from you.

Hi Cindy! I love your scrapbook card! so cute! Your kittens are so adorable! I have a feral (wild) mamma and her littler of four kittens right now that are about 4 weeks old. You can give your sweet lil runt (and the others) some wet food mixed with water so it is very runny a couple times a day to help him gain weight. We have a lil runtie right now too. I just try to make sure he gets a chance at mom or the food bowl alone a couple times a day. Thanks for sharing!
Hugs,
Elizabeth
